April Swenby has worked for the Sand Hill River Watershed District since the fall of 2001 and began as the Adminstrative Assistant. She is a graduate from the Nothwest Technical College in East Grand Forks in software solutions with an emphasis on bookkeeping and also earned her degree in Web-graphic and Design and Communications in 2011 from Moorhead. As the Administrative Assistant, she maintained the financials, created and maintained the district website, and attended the district meetings. Aditionally, she maintained the financial and project records. Beginning January 1, 2019, Swenby stepped into the new role of Administrator and will now take the lead as representative for the Sand Hill River Watershed District for project management and district representation.
